A theoretical framework for economic assessment of small-scale LNG projects

The production of small-scale liquefied natural gas (SLNG) is a promising area the industry, which allows to solve problem energy carriers distribution between end users. This differs SLNG from medium- and large-scale projects that concentrate LNG in hubs. implementation assumes creation an extensive network covering vast territories are not covered by centralized supply networks, rather than development single capacities. In this paper, we propose theoretical framework assess attractiveness networks only terms direct, but also indirect effects, differ depending on composition project stakeholders, as well stage technological chain. essence term “flexibility” relation has been clarified.
